Charlotte Maeva Yeung is a research analyst specializing in nuclear policy, heavy infrastructure financing, and space policy. She is writing a thesis on Chinese, Japanese, and American laws regarding the financial liability of private space companies in wartime with Dr. Kazuto Suzuki, a member of Japan's National Space Council. Her writing has been recognized by the government of Lao PDR and was subsequently displayed during the Third Third Review Conference (3RC) of the Convention on Cluster Munitions (3RC-CCM). She is also a designer and the author of the Amazon #1 New Release, Isabelle and the Magic Bird. She worked with the United Nations Office of Disarmament Affairs to perform a haiku and plant hibakujumoku at the United Nations Headquarters.
She has conducted research with the Federation of American Scientists, National Geographic, The Nature Conservancy, and Partnerships for Global Security. She was the Midwest Youth Poet Ambassador, Indianapolis Youth Poet Laureate, and the founder and instructor for a poetry course for women and girls in Afghanistan. Her first multilingual poem was sent to the moon in 2025 via the Lunar Codex. Her work has been exhibited in the United States, Lao PDR, and Japan. She has performed and given talks across the United States, France, Ireland, South Africa, and Malaysia. She designed a scarf with ReOrient Japan.
She is a Masters of Public Policy Student at Sciences Po Paris and the University of Tokyo.
